Product Consultant in US or APAC

Synertech is looking for a technical consultant who is flexible and has no problem jumping on plane at moment's notice. A minimum of 5 years consulting experience and knows how to properly set expectations with our customers and deliver the services in a methodical approach. The consultant will be expected to define, develop, document and execute the consulting methodology, and serve as the project manager for each project. This person is required to deliver services with confidence and perform as the primary interface to our customers. The consultant should be able to perform software implementations and configurations, performance tuning, create custom documentation on product usage and best practices, conduct product training, and provide issue resolution and workarounds. Responsibilities - I can do it!

Strong technical background in technologies to ensure a successful deployment

Serves as a project manager and implementation expert on Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud Products

Provides product training classes

Provides best practices documentation and transfer of knowledge to appropriate groups on product quality and usage

Resolves technical software problems

Sell additional services to existing customers

Expected travel 70-80%

Requirements - I already have that!

Must have scripting experience (vb, perl) and programming experience in JAVA and C++ a huge plus

Consulting experience and project mgr skillset

Must have a strong technical background 5 or more years relevant experience

Must have a good working knowledge and troubleshooting skills for UNIX & Windows operating systems, networking technology, and mainframe experience is a plus –O/S400, O/S 390, OpenVMS

Must have experience with ORACLE & MSSQL, DB2/UDB a plus

Job scheduling or systems management experience a plus

Integration experience with 3rd party software

Experience with one of the following ERP’s (SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, ETC)

Certification on Windows, UNIX, ERP, or 3rd party products a plus

Have Cloud Implementation Experience
